For this project I was tasked with making a game using the theme of, “Playing both sides.” So I started with a GDD (linked above), and jumped right in. The premise of the game is that whatever the character on the left does, the character on the right does as well. So the player is literally playing both sides of the board. For this project I wanted to experiment with an overall System Manager game object that would run things across all the different levels, despite needing to be loaded / unloaded at different times. In the end, it was an invaluable learning experience where I ended up with even more skills than before.
